Precision to the gram, control at every extraction.

The TIMEMORE Black Mirror BASIC 2 takes the features loved in the BASIC range and improves them to offer even more precise control over coffee preparation. Designed for specialty coffee enthusiasts and baristas alike, it combines 0.1 g accuracy, excellent responsiveness, and smart functions that allow you to master every stage of extraction.

With its auto-timer, flow rate monitoring, and the ability to choose between grams and ounces, this scale helps you refine your recipes and achieve more consistent results, cup after cup.

Precise extraction control

Thanks to its 0.1 g accuracy and high responsiveness, the Black Mirror BASIC 2 measures the quantity of coffee and water used with exactitude. It is perfectly suited for preparing filter coffee, pour-over, and other brewing methods requiring rigorous control of ratios.

Auto-timer and flow rate monitoring

The built-in timer can start automatically when it detects weight, making it easy to track brewing time without interrupting your preparation.

The flow rate monitoring function also gives you better visibility into how fast the water is being poured. You can thus adjust your technique and reproduce your favorite recipes more easily.

Simple and intuitive use

The BASIC 2 retains the textured touch controls and the physical power switch that make it practical for daily use. Selecting between grams and ounces offers more flexibility depending on your brewing habits.

Its sleek, compact design integrates easily into your coffee space, while its LED indicator allows you to monitor the battery level.

Rechargeable and built to last

Its 1,600 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery is charged using the included USB-C cable. The top surface is water-resistant to facilitate use in a coffee environment, and the provided silicone mat protects the scale against heat and contact with vessels.

Note: the USB-C charging port is not waterproof. Never submerge the scale in liquid. Accuracy may also be affected while charging.
